Omega Genève ref. 165.041, from 1968
Stainless steel, automatic.
The "Ultraman" nickname originates from the Omega Speedmaster 145.012-67, believed to have been worn during filming of the Japanese tokusatsu TV series Ultraman in the late 1960s. The name stuck in collector circles, and for a good reason. Any Omega reference that shares the dial DNA of that era carries the same visual electricity.
This Genève ref. 165.041 from 1968 features the striking electric blue dial that defines the Ultraman aesthetic. Against stainless steel, the blue sings.
The case has been well-preserved, retaining sharp edges and a characteristic 1960s silhouette.
This example includes a new lizard leather strap.
